Kids & Teens

Library Card Design Contest

We are excited to announce the winners in the kids & teens card art contest.

Each of Timberland’s 27 libraries selected one winner in each age group (5-11; 12-17) and submitted those representing their library. Over 300 entries were submitted during the contest. A team of judges including librarians and professional artists gathered to pick one winner for a new library card for kids and another for teens.

The winner of the kids cart art contest is 10 year-old Leila Gridley of Olympia, who frequents the Olympia Timberland Library. The winner of the teen card art contest is Toledo’s Erin Tillett, age 16 who visits the Winlock Timberland Library.
