Timberland Regional Library invites you to join us in celebrating National Library Workers Day on April 9, a special occasion to honor our library staff for their expertise and dedication in enriching lives and communities through engagement, enrichment, and lifelong learning.
There are approximately 250 TRL staff members working across 30 different locations, spanning 5 counties and 7,000 square miles. This includes the staff at our 29 library branches, Anywhere Library (our mobile services), as well as the teams in IT, operations, collection services, administration, and more, all working behind the scenes to keep our libraries running smoothly and successfully.
Our staff connects patrons to resources and information, offers innovative programming, and consistently meets the needs of our communities. The many services and resources our local libraries provide wouldn't be possible without their hard work and dedication.
To show our appreciation for our staff and the work they do year-round, we invite members of the community to “Submit a Star” by sharing a testimonial about a favorite library employee. Patrons are welcome to share stories on how library staff have made an impact on their lives or community. Each testimonial will be posted in the “Galaxy of Stars” on the NLWD website to honor library workers.
Join in the celebration of National Library Workers Day by sharing your own stories and celebrations on social media using the hashtag #NLWD24 or by posting on the NLWD Facebook page at facebook.com/NationalLibraryWorkersDay.
