Timberland Regional Library Invites Bids for Mountain View Library Construction in Randle, Wash

Timberland Regional Library is soliciting competitive bids from responsible contractors for the construction of the new Mountain View Timberland Library project in Randle, Wash. Bid documents will be available beginning December 27, 2023.
Timberland Regional Library (TRL) will receive base bids for the public works construction project until 2 p.m. (PDT) on January 17, 2024, at the administrative headquarters at 415 Tumwater Blvd. SW, Tumwater, Wash. The project consists of the construction of a new 3,400-square-feet public library building and 1-acre site.
Base bids and alternate bids will be opened and read aloud at the administrative headquarters soon after bid closing. All interested people are entitled to attend the bid opening.
Contract documents will be available and may be examined at the Southwest Washington Contractors Association at 7017 NE Highway 99, Suite 214, Vancouver, Wash., 98665, and on their website, SWAC.org, opens a new window, and at J-2 Blueprint Supply Company at 8100 NE St. Johns Road, Suite B-101, Vancouver, Wash., 98665, and on their website, Plans.j2b.com, opens a new window. Prospective bidders will be required to sign in as an account manager to have access to the project documents.
Attention of bidders is called to State of Washington statutes, regulations and rules pertaining, but not limited to, the following public works projects: non-discrimination in employment and facilities; rates of payment for wages and fringe benefits to workers; employment of excess numbers of workers who are non-residents of the State of Washington; bid form; bonds, contracts and certificates; restrictions of lien, taxes and retainage; and barrier-free facilities for the handicapped.
There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid conference on Jan. 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the project site.
