Ocean Park, WA – The Ocean Park Timberland Library will temporarily close to the public beginning Monday, August 18, 2025, for two weeks to prepare for a much-anticipated interior remodel. Beginning September 2, library services will resume at a nearby location and remain available throughout the remodel, which is expected to take approximately four months.
The project will include new paint, flooring, and furniture, along with an updated layout to improve flow and functionality, creating a refreshed and more welcoming space for the community.
Beginning Tuesday, September 2 at 10 am, temporary services will be offered just around the corner at 1910 Bay Avenue, Ocean Park, WA 98640 (Next to Forgotten Treasures mall, near Okie’s). Patrons will be able to:

Pick up holds

Browse a small collection including Lucky Day titles, new fiction and nonfiction, DVDs, and picture books

Use essential technology services such as printing, scanning, and faxing

Connect with familiar library staff for assistance
Temporary Location Hours:
Tuesday, 10am-6pm
Wednesday, 10am-6pm
Thursday, 10am - 6pm
Friday, 10am - 5pm
Saturday, 10am-5pm
*closed 2-2:30 daily for lunch
“We’re excited to bring Ocean Park a refreshed, welcoming space that better serves the community’s needs,” said Michelle Zilli, Pacific County Regional Manager. “While the building is closed, we’ll still be here for you - just a short walk away.”
