The Tumwater Timberland Library will host a Read with a Firefighter event for children and their families on Saturday, March 23 from 10 am to noon. Kids and their families will have the opportunity to listen to a firefighter read the Why is Coco Red storybook, have their photo taken with a firefighter, see a fire truck up close and participate in a number of fun and informative activities. There will be exhibits and resources available and opportunities to ask questions about preparing for emergencies.
