Join NATURE, Elmo, Abby, and the Sesame Street friends as they travel to The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya to meet a young elephant they adopted online and the keepers who care for her.
Ahead of the broadcast premiere of PBS' new show “Sesame Street and the Great Elephant Adventure”, KBTC Public Television and Timberland Regional Library are partnering to host free screening events at 5 Timberland Libraries. Families will be able to watch a portion of the special, take-home branded giveaways, and explore books and activities about animals, ecology and conservation.
Show Description:
In Sesame Street’s first-ever safari, our friends embark on an unforgettable journey of discovery, taking them from the caring confines of the elephant sanctuary into the unpredictable African bush, where they come face-to-face with some of nature’s most iconic wildlife, including lions, zebras, giraffes, and hippos.
