TRL Board of Trustees to Hold Informational Retreat July 18

Presentations from staff and invited guests will help inform future Board discussions about a potential levy lid lift.

The Timberland Regional Library Board of Trustees will hold an informational board retreat beginning at 10am on Saturday, July 18, at the Timberland Regional Library Service Center in Tumwater. The retreat is scheduled to conclude at approximately 4pm.

The purpose of the retreat is to provide trustees with information and background on the library district's financial outlook and the levy lid lift process. Presentations from TRL staff and invited guests will review the levy process, current financial projections, and the levy lid lift options available to the Board. Trustees will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the information presented.

The retreat is informational only. No Board action will be taken, and no decisions will be made during the retreat.

The meeting is open to the public and will be offered in a hybrid format. Community members are welcome to attend in person at the Service Center (space is limited) or virtually.

Because no Board action is scheduled, public comment will not be taken during the retreat.

Any action regarding a potential levy lid lift would take place during the Board's regular business meeting on Wednesday, July 22, at the Tumwater Timberland Library.

Meeting agendas and participation information are available at TRL.org/Board.
