Bilingual Activities & Storytimes: All about Shapes
Teaching your child to recognize shapes is something that many caregivers do with their children- and for good reason! Learning shapes helps children begin to sort and categorize as well as develop spatial reasoning. It even helps children with reading! Children notice how shapes are similar and different, which helps them see how letters are similar and different when it comes to learning their letters.
Our newest bilingual storytime series is all about shapes! You can join us for storytime on Zoom with plenty of opportunities for interaction. We also created a guide that includes book titles, song lyrics, and early learning ideas to try at home. The activity guide and storytimes are presented in both English and in Spanish. All levels of language ability are welcome! You can get started by downloading the activity guide and registering for the event.
