Books by Mail
Our Books by Mail service helps remove barriers and increase ease of access for patrons who cannot visit their library due to physical disability or lack of transportation. To apply for this service, complete the application.
- Books and DVDs may be checked out for five weeks to allow for mailing time.
- Items may be renewed once, if there are no holds.
- Patrons are responsible for the return of all items, including fees for items lost or damaged.
Books by Mail FAQs

TRL Patrons with a mailing address within the five-country district who:
- Have no means of receiving books except by mail.
- Who qualify to receive library materials under the USPS Free Matter for the Blind service.

- Complete the Books by Mail application:
- Submit the Online Application or
- Download the Books by Mail Application pdf, opens a new window or
- Visit your local library or Anywhere Library.
- If you are not applying online, return your application to
- Your local library including Anywhere Library or
- By email asklib@trl.org, or
- Mail to:

The print application may be waived, if the applying patron speaks directly with a staff member in person or via our online chat during the setup process. Available at all locations and Anywhere Library.
