Hello dear fellow library enthusiasts, 

Here is our seventh edition of this blog series!

The North Mason Timberland Library is located on WA-3 Highway in Mason County. If you are traveling through Belfair, WA or exploring any of the State Parks along the Hood Canal, this is one of my favorite places to visit. 

   

NEW addition to this series of blog posts, I introduce to you "Familiar Faces of TRL". This will be staff you can find working at the North Mason branch and learn a bit more about these fabulous folx.

Favorite book?   
Harpist in the Wind by Patricia A. McKillip - however one should read the whole trilogy Riddlemaster of Hed for this third installment to have its full impact. I NEVER tire of it!!!
 
What do I like to do in my free time?  Travel and explore - as far as I have time for!
 
Favorite Place to Visit?   Whistler Mountain, British Columbia!  But if I can't go that far Hurricane Ridge is a close second!

What is your favorite book? 
One of my favorites is The Emperors of Chocolate: Inside the Secret World of Hershey and Mars by Joël Glenn Brenner
 
What is your favorite way to spend your free time? 
Listening to some good music - hopefully on vinyl.
 
What do you most appreciate working for a public library in your community? 
Connecting people to the information and / or the resources they are looking for.  
 
Where is your favorite place to visit? 
One of my favorites is Port Townsend for a day trip.  Walk around Fort Worden, do some shopping, have some lunch and adult beverage, then stop off at the Chimacum Corner Farmstand and Finn River Cidery on the way home.

What is your favorite book format?

My Favorite book format is physical books, though I frequently read eBooks as well.

What does your family look like?

My family is made up of my husband and I, our dog Bambi, our crested gecko Java, and many plant babies.

What is your favorite quote from a book or movie?
