Here is our sixth edition of this blog series!
The Westport Timberland Library, opens a new window is located on Highway 105 in Grays Harbor County. If you are interested in a great place to connect to Wi-Fi or plug-in your device on your way to or from the beach, this is one of my favorite places.
As one of our Expanded Access Hours, opens a new window (EAH) libraries there are additional hours of library access available to patrons outside of the normal operating hours. EAH is available at select branches daily from 7:00 am until the library opens and after the library closes until 8:00 pm. During Expanded Access Hours, the library building is open for patrons to enter and use resources, such as books, computers, printing and study spaces. Sign up for EAH at any of our locations.
As you enter the building, you can find your Lucky Day Collection, opens a new window or materials that are brand new to take home and enjoy. You can also find board games you may check out as well.
As you move further into the library, there you will find areas to use computers, tables to plug-in or use your device or read.
Or you can enjoy the Youth and Family area and the Art Cart for families to create and build.
There is also a Meeting room, opens a new window available to reserve for community meetings, or come join us for the many programs that happen here. There is a monthly Simply Paint Program, opens a new window with this month theme as Northern Lights is full, but upcoming Simply Paint Programs are still open for registration.
Or the Veterans Cafe, opens a new window to connect our Veteran's with their services.
Or the monthly Humanities for Washington Speakers events, opens a new window which are virtual and anyone in TRL can register online for these upcoming events.
As you walk around, you can see the multiple displays of the local artist Elton Bennett.
