This year's theme is "Ready, Set, Library!"
With 29 libraries, a robust print and online collection, Anywhere Library mobile services with stops in all 5 counties, a diverse variety of youth to adult programs and so much more, TRL supports you wherever you are on the roadmap through life’s journey.
Celebration Days During National Library Week include:
Monday, April 8
- Right to Read Day is a National Day of Action in support of the right to read. The State of America's Libraries Report is released, including Top Ten Most Challenged Books of 2023. You can view last year’s report by clicking here.
Tuesday, April 9
- National Library Workers Day, a day for everyone to recognize the valuable contributions made by library workers. Click the link above to learn more and shout out a library worker who has made a difference in your life.
Wednesday, April 10
- National Library Outreach Day, a day the dedicated library professionals who are meeting their patrons where they are. Take a moment to learn more about Anywhere Library and visit a mobile stop near you.
Thursday, April 11
- Take Action for Libraries Day, a day to rally advocates to urge members of Congress to protect the freedom to read. Learn more about TRL’s commitment to supporting the freedom to read here.
