New Clothing-Themed Bilingual Time Series
Put on your shoes, your jacket, your scarf, and hurry to sign up for our next series of Bilingual Time/La hora bilingüe! We will read books, sing songs, and play games related to clothing. We intentionally present the stories and songs in both English and Spanish so that it is accessible to all. Regardless of whether you know 1 Spanish word or 100,000, Bilingual Time offers a quality early literacy activity for you and your child.
We celebrate bilingualism along with early literacy and have created an activity guide to help support your child's learning. The guide includes book titles, song lyrics, and early learning ideas to try at home. You can get started by downloading the activity guide and registering for the event. Bilingual Time takes place on Zoom and you will need to register to get the Zoom link. You can also check out the Clothing/La ropa Bilingual Storytime book list.

La hora bilingüe: Nueva serie sobre la ropa
Ponte tus zapatos, chaqueta, bufanda y date prisa para La hora bilingüe/Bilingual Time. Vamos a leer libros, cantar canciones y jugar juegos con el tema de ropa. Todo lo hacemos en los dos idiomas, inglés y español. Es importante que los niños tengan experiencias de alfabetización temprana en su primer idioma. Leer, cantar y hablar en español desarrolla las habilidades que necesitan para aprender a leer. Estas habilidades que aprenden en español les ayudarán a leer y escribir en inglés también.
Celebramos el bilingüismo y la alfabetización temprana así que hemos creado una guía de actividades para apoyar el aprendizaje de su niño en los dos idiomas.
